VIVA! Violin in the
Public Schools

This semester, 200 third grade students at Lincoln Elementary School, were given Suzuki violin lessons twice a week for 11 weeks, ending with a performance for families and friends. This project has been made possible by the generous donations from both the Canterbury Foundation and KSB Hospital.

VIVA! provides high quality instruction which seeks to build strong technical skills as well as develop each child's individual and unique expression of his/herself. We seek to broaden each child's exposure to the many facets of the arts through master classes, workshops and performances by professional teachers and musicians.
